Application Consultant – Manufacturing Specialist

Experience: 5+years
Location: Coimbatore

Required Proficiencies & Education

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 to 6 years of experience in manufacturing and production floors.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing principles, including order management, warehouse, production, and quality
• “Hands-on” experience implementing or utilizing Manufacturing Execution Systems required
• EnterpriseIQ experience preferred
• Consulting experience with customers
• Training and Customer service skills
• Familiarity with large database programs
• Consulting experience in a technology field
• Working knowledge of EDI formats preferred
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports writing preferred
• APICS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Analysis of a customers’ business requirements and objectives and work with them to meet those objectives
• Implement the DELMIAWorks solution successfully in the customer’s environment, and get the customer live
• Assess customers’ business needs and tailor the solution to meet their business objectives
• Application configuration, implementation, and data conversion
• Train users in application use and/or configuration
• Assist customers with application testing and rollout
• Recommend business process improvements to the customer
• Analyze and specify application enhancements with the customer
• Work with the customer and other DELMIAWorks internal organizations to quickly resolve issues impeding implementation or “go live”
